I was hesitant to purchase since several reviews state they are so small. They were actually larger than I expected. I ordered them for a 6 year old and she will absolutely love them, but they are almost too big for a child. I would not purchase them for a younger child. They sparkle and shine for an overall "classy" look and my 20 something daughter tried to convince me that she needed them. The cats themselves are sturdy and thick enough to easily grip to take on and off. The back posts are sturdy and securely attached to the cat with a notch on the posts to keep the backs from coming off without pulling. My only compliant is on the length of the posts. They are not so long that they would touch your head, but you would not sleep in these earrings (not that you should). I received these earrings at a discount in exchange for my honest review. They will make a great gift and I will now need to get another pair for my daughter!
These sterling silver cat earrings are way nicer than anticipated. Made of great quality. Very cute for an adult or child. I think they are just the right size for a stud . these are so tiny you cannot even make out they are cats.The its bitsy crystals are rounds inset, and for the review I had to get my magnifying glass out to give you details. I will say the backing is nice, and clicks in place, that is important in earrings. But what really disappointed me was they are so small you cannot tell they are cats, you cannot see the details again I had to get out a magnifying glass to see any. I would say these are good for a toddler, or a child that sort of thing. If you like tiny jewelry, that you can barely see these are perfect for you. I like to see some details so for me this is a miss.

They are very nice and come in a black velvet box, but really, all online jewelry shops ought to set the item next to a ruler or on an ear to let you see the actual size. They were smaller than I expected (although I admit it was late in the evening and I was tired).
