There is another pair of similar earrings on SilverCloseOut.com that have blue enamel rather than the opals. These are twice the price but have some actual stones in them, so I went with these. I am wishing I had gone with the cheaper ones. These are nice, but the silver dominates and the stones are not very visible. The blue could have just been painted on as no one will notice the presence of actual opal. Given that I'm already nit picking... for some reason these are rounded across the top making them mounds rather than flat flowers. To me this makes it even harder to notice the stones and gives them an odd look. Overall, decent enough to keep as they're for my 10 year old daughter. But they don't stand out as anything particularly special. Wish I could be more positive! Happy Holidays!!
